Hi guys and gals.
This is the reson it's been so quiet round here. I've been painting and creating like crazy for this exhibition. Should be a great show, im thrilled to be involved.
Heres the words from the poster explains it all neater than i would.
"Five internationally recognised artists have been selected by Strange Cargo to create an engaging arts trail of bespoke sculptures that will be placed through the town of Boulogne.
The exhibition ‘From the cities to the sea’ will begin it’s journey in Folkestone and make it’s way across the channel, where it will run alongside the Pompidou exhibition, in Boulogne, June to September 2012.
The work shown will draw influences from the sea and the urban environment. Each artist bringing their own unique style with backgrounds in street art, design, and commercial illustration."
Anyway hope to catch some of you there

To support the launch of the book "start something that matters" by Blake Mycoskie I was invited to come along to Random House Publishers for some sneaker customising . It was a real fun night and great to support such a decent cause/company.
For those who don't know of TOMS they are a for profit company who for every pair of trainers sold gives a pair to a child who needs them, protecting them from illness and infection. So far they have helped in excess of a million kids.
Footage of the night coming soon.
Thanks to staff at TOMS and Random House

Heres some photos of my first sculptures. I really enjoyed doing these and i hope it shows. It was a strange leap from painting things such as Vinyl toys, where you have a shape and try to make it look your own, whereas with this it was already shaped to be one of my characters.
I think i'll be carrying on working in these mediums, not just in sculting but the materials used such as the resin itself have promise of interesting results.
Pictures of individual ones in the gallery, I shall be uploading them into the shop shortly.
Big love , hope you dig
